Making a map of NID locations

Add markers

  1. Add locations to be mapped using the search feature, or a link from Google maps. You can also import a csv file with latitude and longitude columns.

  1. Once the markers show up on the map, you can adjust the map view to focus on the region of interest.

  1. You can change the symbols, colours and text labels. Select all the markers, holding SHIFT key and copy-paste the style! Use the advanced options to reposition labels, add pointer lines and other fine customisation.

Design the map

Select a style for the basemap, add map furniture and much more!

Annotate your map

Add context to your visualisation by adding an appropriate title, a description (if needed) and metadata (note and source). You can also add a legend if needed.
